As WE Go Out Into the Street
As we go out into the street Reality spinning around our feet Seeing friends who seek to know why We don’t feel nature’s sigh Sigh as she sees her pearls Who are spread all around the world Give no thought to the other Saddens the heart of the Mother Who’s only desire is to give With no thought of herself only the kids The kids who now are trying to learn Just what is meant by mutual concern Concern for my friend above my own As nature herself has consistently shown It is time for the kids to have grown Every man boy and girl Into being for the world
