What is this Poor Boy to do?
What is this poor boy to do He’s spent his whole life as if in a zoo Wondering from pillar to post Some people think he is a ghost No one place he can call his home Because the cruelty of society won’t leave him alone Traveling all around Going from one city then too the next town This brought this young man to his knee’s Begging to Nature with his pleas To let him understand the meaning to life And why is it filled with so much strife Why is it, life’s pain, seems to cut to the bone Trying to emulate all he’s been shown Only to finally look and see That this is no way to be Filled with such unfounded hate Katie bar the doors and lock that gate We’re taking this hatred on head to head But instead of fighting it we found instead To open our hearts and let love rule the day Because this is the only way To correct society as a whole While bringing joy to the Creator as we rebuild our soul
