Cure

Cure

If a doctor told you that you had cancer and would die

Would just sit there in fear and cry

Or would you seek out what it is you need

To break through this thing and truly be freed

This is our work that is before us now

To try to connect and break free some how

To fulfill each other’s desires and needs

And totally through away all the greed

We don’t see it but we are all suffering from the same disease

Its terminal and the only cure brings us to our knees

We fight it cuss it and call it names

And then it brings us this heartfelt shame

In the end we find what it truly means share and love

If in the end we truly dare to step above

Our ego

Sparkling Nights

The Sparkling Nights Sky
As I gaze into the sparkling nights sky
It leaves me wondering just why
Why in this life is there so much misery and pain
Why is life such a damn strain?
The bills that never end
And the collectors that never bend
Coupled with the rising prices for that which we need
As if these companies want a turnip to bleed
So as I was staring into the night’s sky so bright
It shined on me like a ray of light
That nature’s force was talking to me
Only wanting me to see
That the answer was not outside but within
As it was asking me to begin
To look at the ego and experience it for what it truly is
This vessel of reception that does not want to give
To release it and just let it go
And to the world truly show
The way to share from above
As we learn just how to truly love
We can only do it together never apart
And this is just where we start
To Love
