The Donkey Driver

Donkey Driver
By Chiewdu Nwangwu
O' Donkey Driver
Helper of the Little Ones
Oh, how WE Yearn For Your Return!
Where You Are and Where You Have been
WE say, Where You Are and The PLACE
Yes, The PLACE That Floats
Is Where WE! Die Daily to Be!

Come Back, Come Back WE Plead
For WE! Have Vowed That
That PLACE is OUR
Next Station As WE! Bade Egypt Far well!!!
WE! Are Loaded Up, Leaving None Behind
And with All Of Egypt's Silver and Gold
That OUR Hand Attained, Leaving None Behind

O' Angel of Mercy Tarry Not
For The Night is Aging Quick!
WE! Tremble With Great Trembling
WE Quake and Quiver Greatly Too
And Behold, Behold The Screams
The Weeping, The Cries and The Sorrow
Of OUR POINT, Out Of Which WE! Arose

Come O' Driver, and Give US Your Gentle Push
And Pull US To That PLACE
Where WE Yarn, Long, Desire and Crave
Yes, The Very PLACE,
That is Home Of OUR POINT
O' What A Shout For Joy, What Jubilation
OUR POINT Eagerly Await to Belch

Tarry Not, Make Haste O' Friend!
And Set OUR POINT, WE! Free
To The Glory Of The Holy ONE,
The MANY That WE! Know As
ONE, UNIQUE AND UNIFIED! Selah.

Shabbat Shalom, Haverim.
