The EGO is the Pharaoh who enslaves us inside

Until your heart awakens the Pharaoh will hide

Pharaoh will cause you some deep corporeal reflections

Tricking you and lying to you every step of the way

Promising the riches of a king only so you will sway

And when you think you got it in hand

Pharaoh shows you how in truth you can’t stand

This brings you to a humility rarely seen in your life

Usually only surrounded by perils and strife

Brought to you in the dead of night

So you can bring to the night a ray of light

By diving into the group with a heart of desire

This is where you build your fire

Playing the game from dusk till dawn

Realizing in truth this is where you belong

The books, the Rav and the group

Like eating words from an alphabet soup
