In the Darness of The Night

In the darkness of night and the still of motion

We are lost in the vastness of this egoistic ocean

Without a knowing or reason as to why

We simply fall down and just start to cry

With a mighty hand and the strength of many

The group does come to give us plenty

Of the needed desire, and force

To continue on our path, our course

To learn what it truly means to love

And all we have to do is let go of

All that we have known and learned to date

This inside us leaves a terrible taste

One we don’t want or can stand

To us it is just horrible, just so damn bland

But we push on for reasons we do not know

Hoping inside we begin to grow

We understand even less which part of the plan is

To learn how, without thought of self, to give

It’s a foreign concept to our egoistic mind

All of us at one point refuse to see, we’re just blind

But as we come together and truly dare

To bond together and love we share

Not for our self but for those all around

Brings us to this place that one day will be found

This place we need to find sooner than later

That is to be one with the creator
