When a love is lost in this corporeal life

Why does it hurt worse than being stabbed with a knife?

As laughter fails and hatred kicks in

Not doing the work is the only true sin

But to find the love in doing the work

Brings within it its own true perks

Keeping each other in our daily thoughts for connection

Comes with its own form of rejection

Going against what the body dictates

One needs to acquire a new form or trait

Working within instead of outside

Creates within one hell of a ride

So buckle up your laces and strap on your gear

The true beginning of this ride is so damn near

All that is needed is effort within the light

The friends are with you no matter the scorn
