Ups and Downs

Life is always filled with ups and downs

Sometimes like in a lake about to drown

Then up like an eagle that fl’ys so high

Only to drop right out of the sky

Going through school more dead than alive

Which is when the EGO really starts to thrive

Pulling you like a roller coaster all around

Forgetting about the place for which we are bound

Living and loving a life that’s a lie

Sometimes making us wish we would just die

And sometimes making us feel like we could fly

It’s all a game put on us to play

Teaching us slowly how to pray

Making us go deep within

Only to discover there is none else besides Him

Looking Through the Door

Standing on the mountain looking through the door

Watching the eagles as they soar

Looking at the river that snakes its way through

Seeing a reflection of me and you

Seeing the world's sorrows as they start on fire

Flames reaching tree tops growing so much higher

Suffocating air as the fossil fuels burn

What will it take for man to learn

Gouging prices no matter where you go

decreasing wages as the Ego’s Grow

Divorce rates steady on the rise

The Ego’s releasing all of its spies

Our Enemies are gathering to conquer this land

All the while it's all inside of man

We keep trying to fight these things from outside

Forgetting it's just a reflection of what's inside

Needing only to connect with your fellow man

Bringing the world back to nature's plan

Platitudes with no gratitude

Uprisings and platitudes all at the same time

 Ill begotten attitudes about death and hate crimes 

 Lovers living an ill-fated lie 

Children lost wanting only to die 

Systems created to make you sick 

So the pharmaceutical pushers can charge for your fix 

Police forgetting to protect and serve 

Then when you protest they say it's you with some nerve 

The outcry for truth has never waned 

 The media reports garbage and accepts no blame 

Politicians come in honest as they start 

But then the cruel system tears them apart 

Black opps under false flags to control the masses 

People looking through foggy glasses

 If you knew the technology that the government holds 

How life would make way for love to unfold 

How connected we are one and all 

To each other through nature's call 

What you gonna do to break it all down 

Or are you gonna just lay around 

Watching the boob tube getting dulled by the minuet 

Look you all I'm no cynic 

I believe we have a rare opportunity 

 To enliven in love all communities 

To love our neighbor as we do are self 

By placing the ego upon a shelf 

Rising above the self serving desires 

Igniting our family and friends hearts on fire 

Burning inside with love of friends 

Correcting that ego as it bends 

Bringing joy to nature as we build our soul 

Bringing the world back to whole

Fulfilling Nature's Plan

Were told what to do and yet

we stumble around in this Egoistic net

waiting for a time when we can conceive

the correction of the will to receive

instead the covenant must be written in the heart

so we don’t place the horse after the cart

coming to that united demand

when we realize together we’ve done all we can

to unite as one man with one heart and soul

bringing the world back to whole

then we can unite as one

as the light is revealed then it’s done

climbing the ladder to its end

which in fact is when we begin

to love unconditionally every child woman and man

loving your neighbor as yourself, fulfilling nature's plan

The Oceans are Rising

The oceans are rising

As the storms rage

All the while we’re locked in a cage

Nothing is surprising

As we turn the page

Playing this role, on life’s stage

Never seeing what comes next

Leaves me completely perplexed

Wanting to break from the EGO’s grasp

Alone this is an impossible task

But when 10 unite as 1

loving each other like father to son

Miracles spring forth and come about

Leaving one knowing without a doubt

There’s only one way society must flow

Which is the way our sages direct us to go

Together as one man with one heart and soul

Bringing the world back to whole

Is slowly breaking

Leaving us alone and bare

Questions from the light, show me how to pray

Shifting from left to right to find the middle way

Using the will’s might, so I will stay

Loving you tight, with all my heart today

The greatest tool we have to use

Makes us act the fool, and sing the blues

But remembering the golden rule,leaves us without an excuse

Don’t do to others what you hate

Treat them like your brother whom you wouldn't negate

Through them one has the ability to see

Just what it is inside of me

Those things I don’t want feel

because when I do they seem real

Opening my heart and letting the brothers in

is a great step towards revealing, there’s none else besides Him
