Cause and Consequence

Cause and Consequence

We live in a world of cause and consequence
The way things are going, it truly makes sense
The ground parting around the world
Showing us our choices weren't furled
Africa splitting into two
All because of our egoistic view
Because of the hatred expressed in the lands
Instead of holding each other’s hands

The mountains groan and the oceans rise
While man still trades in his selfish lies
He builds his towers, he draws his lines
Then acts surprised at the warning signs

The earth itself begins to shake
From all the blows that our egos make
For nature follows one perfect law
While man keeps tearing with tooth and claw

We were not made to live this way
Devouring night and cursing day
We were made to learn, to bend, to see
That love alone can set us free

For every fracture in the ground
Reflects a hatred we have found
And every storm and every flame
Whispers back man is to blame

Yet covered deep beneath the pain
There still remains a holy gain
For every crack that splits apart
Can wake the sleeping human heart

So let us stop before the fall
And hear creation’s aching call
Not with pride and not with demands
But by learning to hold each other’s hands

The Torah and Prayer

 The Torah and Prayer

Torah and Prayer are two opposite parts
Our job is to learn the difference so we can start

Torah brings Light from Above down below
Prayer raises the lack from the heart’s inner woe
One fills the vessel, the other reveals
The cracks in the soul that the ego conceals

Torah is given, a gift from the King
Prayer is the cry that the broken ones bring
One is the answer, the other the plea
Together they build true equivalency

When I learn Torah but don’t feel the need
It turns into knowledge that starves out the seed
But when prayer awakens from deep in despair
The Torah brings Light and corrects what is there

So back and forth like the breath that we take
Deficiency rising, fulfillment awake
Not one without two, not two without One
This is the path till correction is done

So give me the lack, let my heart truly pray
Then dress it with Torah to show me the way
For in this connection, the two become One
And the work of the Creator in us is begun

The Man Who Sold His Beams

The Man Who Sold His Beams

He came to the path with fire in his chest
Certain his wisdom was better than the rest
He spoke about love, connection, the light
But inside his ego prepared for the fight.

The Ten sat together like brothers in line
Each one carrying a spark of the Divine
But his will to receive began its routine
Searching the cracks in the human machine.

“Look at that friend, he’s lazy as hell.
That one talks big but his heart you can’t tell.
And that one over there, what a fraud in disguise.”
Thus spoke the sweet voice of the inner spies.

At first he believed it—every damn word.
The poison felt smart, logical, assured.
He sharpened his judgment like a polished blade
While the bridge to the friends quietly decayed.

Then the darkness arrived like a cold desert wind.
The lessons felt empty, no warmth within.
The Creator went silent, the heart turned to stone
And suddenly he felt completely alone.

He cursed the Ten. He cursed the path.
He cursed the Creator in quiet wrath.
“Maybe they’re wrong. Maybe I was fooled.”
Thus the will to receive sat laughing and ruled.

But buried beneath all the dirt and the screams
A tiny voice whispered, “Sell the beams.”

Sell the beams of the house you built in pride
The roof of judgment where the ego hides
Sell the walls made of clever thought
Sell every lie the ego bought.

He fought that voice with teeth and bone
“Why should I bow? I stand alone!”
But the heart kept breaking night by night
Until he collapsed in the lack of light.

Then finally broken, ugly and bare
He whispered a prayer through exhausted air:
“Creator… I see what my ego has done.
I burned every friend one by one.”

“I judged the ladder meant for my climb.
I spat on the gift of the Ten divine.
Take all my beams, every plank of pride—
Leave me nothing… but let me stand inside.”

And something shifted, quiet and deep
Like warm rain falling through fields of sleep
The friends he judged now shined like the sun
Each one a piece of the Holy One.

Their flaws became mirrors he finally saw
Each crack revealing his own inner law
And instead of anger a strange love grew
For the broken friends who carried him through.

He saw their effort, their trembling fight
Each one crawling toward the light
Ten wounded souls refusing to flee
Building a place for Divinity.

He wept like a child who’d finally seen
Why heaven is built from a shattered Ten
And why the Creator hides His face
Only to dwell in that fragile place.

Now he walks lighter, stripped of schemes
Living in a house with no more beams
No roof of judgment, no walls of pride
Just open sky where the friends reside.

And when the spies come back to scream
He smiles and whispers the ancient theme:

“Take my house, my pride, my dreams…
But never again
will I keep
those damn beams.”

Sukkah of Light

Sukkah of Light
Going to war means shaping the soul
Not for the body but for the goal
To tie our hearts like ropes so tight
And aim them all to the One true Light

We gather together, ten by ten
Broken riders and working men
Each friend pushing the other ahead
Toward the place where the Creator is spread

Together we rise, together we fall
Creator above us, holding us all
Turn this war into peace tonight
Cover our hearts with Your Sukkah of Light

יחד נקום יחד ניפול
הבורא מעלינו מחזיק את הכל
הפוך מלחמה לשלום בלב
פרוש עלינו סוכת שלום עכשיו

The war we fight is the will to receive
A thief in the heart that makes us deceive
It whispers softly “take for your own”
And leaves every man dying alone

But ten friends standing shoulder to shoulder
Turn weak little sparks into burning boulders
We shout from the depth of a desperate prayer
“Creator come finish the work started there!”

Together we rise, together we fall
Creator above us, holding us all
Turn this war into peace tonight
Cover our hearts with Your Sukkah of Light

יחד נקום יחד ניפול
הבורא מעלינו מחזיק את הכל
הפוך מלחמה לשלום בלב
פרוש עלינו סוכת שלום עכשיו

If half the world fights the other half blind
The cure is connection of heart and mind
For those called Israel must stand tall
Yashar-Kel hearts that answer the call

When tens unite across the land
The Creator moves through every hand
And what once burned like endless war
Becomes one heart forevermore

Together we rise, together we fall
Creator above us, holding us all
Turn this war into peace tonight
Cover our hearts with Your Sukkah of Light

יחד נקום יחד ניפול
הבורא מעלינו מחזיק את הכל
הפוך מלחמה לשלום בלב
פרוש עלינו סוכת שלום עכשיו

The Partzuf Within

The Partzuf Within

Before form there was only a cry,
A wanting that did not know why.
A hunger burning deep inside,
A will to receive it could not hide.

The Light approached — simple, whole, kind,
But shattered the peace of the mind.
For pleasure received without care
Left shame awakening there.

So the desire learned to restrain,
Not to kill want — but change the gain.
A silence formed… a sacred stop,
Malchut refusing to simply drop.

And there inside that inward pause,
A Head was born — obeying laws.
The Rosh now asks before delight:
“Can this be taken for the Light?”

Calculation — subtle and thin,
Not what I want… but Who I’m in.
The desire weighs what it may receive,
Only what love can truly give.

Then comes the Toch, the felt embrace,
Where Light and intention share one place.
Pleasure enters — calm and bright,
Because reception now serves the Light.

And oh how different pleasure feels
When bestowal turns the wheels.
No longer burning, grasping flame,
But quiet joy without self-name.

Yet limits come — they must appear,
The Sof draws boundary clear.
“What cannot be for Him above
Remains outside the act of love.”

So Light departs where aim is lost,
Not punishment — correction’s cost.
And emptiness returns again,
Preparing stronger Kelim within.

Thus every Partzuf lives in you,
Each rising when intention’s true.
Desire itself never dies —
It learns through screens to realize.

We feel this not in thought alone,
But when the heart becomes unknown —
When pleasure waits before it starts,
And love calculates within our hearts.

Then suddenly you sense the shift:
Receiving turns into a gift.
And what once chained the soul apart
Becomes a vessel… called a heart.

Which Horse You Ride

 “Which Horse You Ride”

The changes in the world are strange at best
People argue and fight, releasing the ego's nest
Never realizing that’s one of the ego's tools
When they use it, it leaves us feeling like fools

When we stop, think and decide
Which horse you're gonna ride
The one that bucks and kicks you off
Or the one that whispers so nice and soft

One runs on anger, pride, and fear
It shouts so loud you think it's clear
It promises power, respect, and fame
But leaves you empty, full of blame

The other is quiet, you barely hear
It speaks through love, draws friends near
It asks for nothing, just to give
And shows the only way to live

One horse runs wild, tearing apart
The other rides straight through the heart
One throws you down in dust and pain
The other walks you home again

So look at the reins you hold so tight
Ask who is leading in this fight
The ego screams, “Take all you can!”
The soul just whispers, “Love your man.”

Two Choices, One Voice

Born into a system with two sets of rules

One all for self and the other to give away all your jewels
One is awake and the other asleep
One wants to give and the other to keep
The trick is to step back and see
What is fighting for your power complete

Two voices inside, both pulling the reins
One promises pleasure, the other brings pains
One builds a prison you never can see
The other unlocks what you’re meant to be

The one that takes whispers, “Think only of you”
The one that gives asks, “What can love do?”
One feeds the hunger that never is filled
The other grows quiet where faith can be built

So stand in the middle, don’t run, don’t pretend
Just watch who is speaking, and who is your friend
For power is chosen in each breath you make
To give for the truth, while the ego takes
