Psalms In The Heart

Israelis always seem to want to know what Americans and American Jews think about what's going on in Israel.  And I am always willing to share my impressions of what I think,  however I am not sure Israelis want to hear my heart on the matter of “What is Israel's role to the world”.  I come from a place in America that is known for their kindness and Apathy.  My impression of the average Israeli is that when you take them away from work,  they are the kindest,  most apathetic caring people I have ever met.  But when they go to work it turns into screw you and the horse you rode in on. In this lies the biggest part of the problem,  you see when the missels come,  or any other type of threat they come together as one man with one heart.  Just like it was during the times of the temples.  However they think it is ok to break things down to work and personal relationships but that is the biggest part of the problem. ...

In a world built on greed and separation There is no room for contemplation On the things that can free one's heart Only survival at the highest degree Dropping one to his knees Asking where oh where do I start With the answers hidden before my eyes Not trusting all the lies Demanding to know what exactly is my part Answers twisted in our perception Bringing scrutinies of introspection Changing our perception like following a chart It's these emotional jolts that build desires With the correct intention, igniting a fire One that burns within our hearts With connection giving us the best start Showing each what is their part All so nature may impart Unconditional love our true sweetheart

Emotions rise and fall Like oceans squalls Tossing and turning Hearts a burning Where does it all lead Why is there so much greed When will it all end What is the message Nature sends Why is everything hidden from me Laying on the floor as my heart bleeds Urning to be one with nature who’s whole Uniting with the friends as we rebuild our soul Bringing joy back to Nature and her plan Unitedly raising Mann Placing everything up on a shelf As we learn to Love our Neighbor as Yourself.

From the darkness, we discover the light As we plunder through our plight Dazed and confused with no hope in sight Knowing only that there is only one place to stand Arm in arm hand in hand Connected together with Nature's plan Bringing joy back to the Giver Making my heart quiver As the love flows like a river Cutting through our hearts Awakening those parts That gives us the best possible start Twisting and turning like a rollercoaster ride Leaving you with nowhere to hide As we mount our stallion cause we just want to ride Together as one man with one heart and soul As we unitedly fulfill our role Bringing the world back to being whole

The work we do is no easy thing Strife and struggles is what the EGO sings Constantly working on our hearts Concealing your soul from the start Forging us into a ripened cell Showing us how to break free from hell Twisting and turning us all around Until our hearts begin to pound With this burning desire Igniting our hearts on fire And then the heart begins to reveal All that the EGO has concealed Showing us our true form United with the system feeling reborn

Ten Able body strong men Rough to the core, they are my Ten Didn’t understand what they signed up for These questions arise as they enter the door You see, the battle is won only on the inside The battle is in overcoming our selfish pride Striving to reveal That which nature has concealed Uniquely hiden before our sight Behind all the struggles and strife As the ten opens its heart to pray Feeling each others deficiency in every way Bringing it to the light to correct and heal Showing us just how real Natures love has always been As together as one we begin To climb the ladder to be with HIM

What is it you think you know What way do your actions show How is it your emotions are dry Do the feelings of seclusion make you cry Why do the sighs come from the left Filled with such torments and neglect And why when something beautiful comes your way Do we try to run away Where do we go from here What, in our heart, do we hold dear How do we change the hate to love We can’t without help from above The help that we seek If we open our hearts and peek We find it’s been in there all along Waiting for you to sing its song Together we will sing Unconditional Love the Light brings Breaking down realities facade As we perceive our friends in Awe
