Pool of Tears
As I sit crying in this pool of tears
For neglecting you my love, all of these years
Never attending to all of your parts
I now feel how it truly breaks your heart
I can never bring forth the words to express
The sorrow I’ve felt for the years of regress
As I lay myself before you, asking you to forgive
For the ways of my existence that tell how I’ve lived
Working hard to gather the parts of my soul
Using this sorrow to help us become whole
Working with these parts, as we join to become one
No longer separated or divided
Trying to bring joy to you as your parts are united
